Thought i might change it up a bit from the usual boring Hi Members.
Well the Straddie Assault wrapped up last weekend with a great time by all the crew that made the trek over there.
After a crap day on Sat the boys backed up on Sun to much better conditions with the pairs event running.
Representing the club, Jake & Reef were outstanding taking down some big names on the day to make the final against LeBA , there semi final win against Snapper very popular with the crowd on the hill at Main Beach.
A few of the younger guys that came over made for some fun times, with a great display of Dwarf wrestling from Silky & Cooper and after carrying a full esky from the house to the beach, with not one complaint, they might be all allowed to come back next year.

The club sent down a team to the Aussie Boardriders Battle on the Goldy last weekend.
Comp was held at Southport Spit, The boys put up a great effort just missing out on progressing to the final day.
Josh (Migaloo) Menger had the highest scoring wave at one stage belting a right hander all the way to the beach.
Parko Grom comp is on this weekend in Caloundra 6-9th Nov. The club has decided to postpone our club comp to the following weekend 16th Nov to allow the grommets use of the local break Ann st.
We will be running another Sweepstake competition for the season ending comp at Pipeline, so save that $20 and put it toward the chance of winning some serious coin. Details will txt out soon.
The PA Committee will be getting together again soon to organize the highly successful contest again for next year.
This event is one of the most popular comps on the Sunshine Coast bringing a huge amount of publicity and people to the Moffat Beach foreshore. Having it over the Easter weekend has been a very popular choice amongst the Surfing Community. The event has been growing every year and would not be possible without the generous support of our wonderful sponsors that keep this contest running for over 40 yrs.

Some members kids turned up at our door for Halloween with no lollies in there buckets, they had visited another club members house in Battery Hill who will remain anonymous cnr Coryule & Buderim st. Lets just say the Grinch is one of his best friends.
Tim Carter & Will spent some time at the Macaronis Land Resort recently, all reports was great waves and not many people in the camp.
Kalen Scholss ran a fund raiser last weekend for a young girl with some severe health issues, great to see the support they got on the day to make it very successful. Apparently they forgot to fasten down the Marquee and it ended up in a tree, would have been pretty funny to see that.
