The WindanSea Boardriders Monthly General Meetings are held from 6.00pm-7.30 pm on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the WindanSea Community Clubhouse, 1A Buderim Street, Currimundi.

The WindanSea Boardriders Annual General Meeting is held from 6.00pm-7.30 pm on the 1st Wednesday of  August at the WindanSea Community Clubhouse, 1A Buderim Street, Currimundi.

The WindanSea Boardriders Surfing Competitions are held on the Sundays which follow our monthly and AGM meetings. Competitions are held at  the Ann Street Reef, Ballinger Beach. If the conditions are unsuitable the event will be rescheduled until the following Sunday.

The WindanSea Boardriders Club hosts the Annual Pa & Ma Bendall Memorial Surfing Competition over the Easter Long weekend at Moffatt Beach. 2025 marks the 51st Anniversary of the event. Competitors travel from all over Australia for the event. Some competitors even travel from overseas.

The Winterfest Event is held for WindanSea members only during the month of July at the Anne Street Reef, Ballinger Beach.

Team Events: Kirra Teams Challenge; Kirra Junior Teams Challenge (Girls & Boys); The ABB (Australian Boardriders Battle); Straddie Invitational; The Live Like Maia Cup which is an annual charity teams surfing event hosted by the WindanSea Boardriders Club to celebrate our former member, Maia. Funds raised from this event go to cancer support, specifically, the Ademy Crosby cancer facility at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. These events occur annually. Dates are announced via the Team App when they become available.

The Parko Junior Pro is an annual event hosted by Surfing Qld. The event, named after former world champion surfer & former WindanSea Member, Joel Parkinson, is hosted by Surfing Queensland. The date of the event will be announce via the Team App when it becomes available.

Time and venue of International Surfing Titles will be posted on Surfing Australia’s website each year. 

The Annual WindanSea Boardriders Trophy Presentation occurs annually in December.
